ImageTransferPlus is a fully graphical 32-bit Windows import-and-export utility that makes it easy to transfer Binary Large Objects (BLOBs) and Character Large Objects (CLOBs) between the file system and your SQL Server or Oracle databases. ImageTransferPlus eliminates the need to write custom file import and export programs. An integrated file system explorer allows easy navigation of the PC file system and the database explorer enables the interactive selection of database columns. The built-in graphical viewer enables the viewing of many popular binary formats and text files. ImageTransferPlus is able to import and export virtually any file type to and from a SQL Server Image column or an Oracle Long Raw column by simply selecting the file and column using the graphical user interface. In addition, ImageTransferPlus supports performing table and column selection, joins and updating of recordsets using custom SQL select statements.

ImageTransferPlus can be used to import and export virtually any type of file to a SQL Server or Oracle database. Including the following types of files and many more:

Character-based files

· XML (.xml, .xsd, .xsl, etc.),

· HTML (.htm, .html, etc.)

· Text (.txt, .csv, etc.)

Binary Files

· Images (.bmp, jpg, gif, etc.)

· Executables (.exe, .dll)

· Video (.avi, .mpg, .mov, etc.)

· Audio (.wma, mp3, etc.)

Application Files

· Word (.doc)

· Excel (.xls)

· PowerPoint (.ppt)

ImageTransferPlus supports the transfer of binary and character objects of up to 2GB. For SQL Server, binary data can be imported and exported from Image and Varbinary column while character data can be imported and exported from Text, and nText columns. For Oracle, ImageTransferPlus enables the import and export of binary data from Raw Long columns and character data can be imported and exported from Long columns.
