The TECA FileTransfer/OCX provides easy-to-use, ultra-fast file transfer between the
AS/400 and the PC. Thousands of records can be transferred in just a few seconds. The TECA
FileTransfer/OCX can send or retrieve entire files with a single operation. All data
conversion – even packed and binary numeric conversions -- happen automatically. In
addition to full file transfer, the TECA FileTransfer/OCX also supports the ability to
transfer files one record at a time and can even retrieve file and field descriptions. All
AS/400 files are supported including database files and source files.

Note: the current version of the FileTransfer/OCX works with the NS/Portfolio and
Client Access for Windows 95/NT. It does not currrently work with RUMBA Access 95/NT.
The TECA DataQueue/OCX supports all of the AS/400’s data queue features including
the ability to create and use both keyed and non-keyed data queues, as well as the ability
to peek at data queue entries. The TECA DataQueue/OCX provides an excellent foundation for
developing your own client/server applications.

The TECA RemoteCommand/OCX executes commands on the AS/400 by simply setting properties
in the control. The TECA RemoteCommand/OCX can execute a single command or a series of
commands. For instance, you can use the TECA RemoteCommand/OCX to change the library list,
perform a file override and then run an AS/400 job.

The TECA SystemName/OCX displays a drop-down box containing the names of the connected
AS/400s. The ability to select systems is required any time there are multiple AS/400
connected to one PC. The TECA SystemName/OCX is easily integrated with the other TECA
Custom Controls.

The TECA Folders/OCX allows you to easily assign or release network folders from your
COM enabled applications The TECA Folder/OCX can work with AS/400 Shared Folders, AS/400
IFS network folders as well as Novell NetWare and Windows NT Server networked drives. You
can assign folders interactively by clicking on the TECA Folders/OCX icon, or
programmatically by using the built-in methods. Once assigned, the folders are available
system wide.
